Trudging through rain-soaked trails and vegetation all morning was not the way I wanted to start Day 3 of a 5-day backpacking experience through Glacier National Park. However, for a couple of hours, the rain cleared away for this beautiful sight of Kootenai Peak. I knew right away this photo would be special. The rain would return shortly after this photo was taken, but it was a bright spot on a cold and wet day.

Artist's Proofs are special prints that traditionally were test prints but now come to mean prints that are identical in quality to the Limited Edition prints. These are of higher value because they are the artist's own copies and are a great option for the discerning collector. They represent a small fraction of Johnny’s work that will ever be issued.
